Moscow court arrests Rovshan Askerov in absentia
Baku/24.05.22/Turan: On May 24, 2022, the Basmanny District Court of Moscow arrested in absentia a participant in the TV program “What? Where? When?" Rovshan Askerov in the case of the rehabilitation of Nazism, reported the "Moscow" agency with reference to the press service of the court.
Askerov was put on the wanted list on May 11. The reason for this was his publications in social networks about the looting of Marshal Zhukov, who in Russia is considered a hero of the Second World War. Askerov denied accusations of rehabilitating Nazism, calling them "stupid".
Askerov was forced to return to his historical homeland in Baku after a criminal case was opened against him in early May. In Moscow, he worked in the magazine "Baku" and was a participant in the game "What? Where? When?”-02D-
