General Azad Alekperov has been appointed deputy chief of the Border Service of Azerbaijan, the press service of the agency. He will be responsible for working with staff.
Until now Azad Alekperov was head of the state border protection in the main headquarters of the Border Guards.
The predecessor of Alekperov, the General Mohammed Abbasgulu, died in his office on November 22, 2013. -16D-
