It is not clear from the official communication whether there was any alternative to his candidacy. Until now, Jahangir Mammadli was in charge of the Council. A few days ago, the country's parliament elected new members of the Broadcasting Council.
At the next stage, the election of the director of the ETA should take place.
A week ago, the Broadcasting Council announced a tender for the vacancy of the CEO of OTV. Those who wish can apply to the Council on broadcasting of OTV from 12 to 22 April.
