Nine Days Off in Row on Novruz Holiday
Baku/17.02.21/Turan: This year, for the spring holiday of Novruz Bayrami, by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, five days have been determined as days off - from March 20 to March 24.
Since March 20-21 this year falls on Saturday and Sunday, this weekend is postponed to March 24-25. And since March 27 and 28 are also Saturday and Sunday, then 9 days in a row will not be workdays - from March 21 to 29.
On May 13, 14, Ramadan holiday, July 20, 21 days of Gurban holiday were determined.
Three days in a row will also be days off on the occasion of the Women's Day on March 8, which falls on Monday this year. –06D-

On January 29, municipal elections were held in Azerbaijan, with over 16,000 candidates participating across 118 constituencies. The Central Election Commission (CEC) has already announced the names of the leading candidates on its website. Hours after the election, CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov stated at a briefing that 413 out of 685 municipalities had already been formed, with 7,791 candidates identified as leaders.
