Baku/04.08.22/Turan: On Friday, August 5, the weather in Baku and Absheron will be variably cloudy, mostly without precipitation, but closer to night there is a chance of rain in some places, a moderate north-western wind will blow, the National Hydrometeorology Service reports.
Air temperature will be +24+26° at night, +35+37° during the day.
On the beaches of the northern coast of Absheron (Sumgayit, Novkhany, Nardaran, Bilgyah, Zagulba), the sea water temperature will be +25+26 °; the southern coast (Turkyan, Govsan, Sahil, Shikhovo) +26+27°.
There will also be mostly no precipitation in the regions of Azerbaijan, but short-term rains with thunderstorms are expected in a number of northern and western regions in the afternoon. Air temperature will be +21+26° at night, +33+38° during the day. In the mountains, +9+14° is expected at night, +20+25° during the day. -05D06-.

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
