Operational Headquarters on tightening of anti-covid measures from September 1
Baku/20.08.21/Turan: Since September 1, individuals will be fined equal to 200 to 400 manats for visiting educational institutions, large shopping centers and catering facilities without a covid passport. The resumption of studies in the country is scheduled to start from September 15.
The availability of covid-passports can be downloaded by citizens to their mobile phones or printed on paper, and their availability can be checked by the number of the identity card. Also, an application has been developed to download a covid-passport into the phone.
It should be added that officials of educational institutions, catering facilities and large shopping centers will be fined from 4,000 to 5,000 manats. The passport check will be carried out by police officers in civilian clothes, according to a briefing of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers on August 20.
Note that employees of organizations should be vaccinated by 80%. Their managers are responsible for compliance with this. All these restrictions arise from a sharp rise in the number of infected with the Delta-coronavirus strain, as well as the facts of issuing false vaccination documents. The virus is actively spreading on transport and during mass events. At the same time, no covid-passports for entering the metro and markets are required.
No vaccination of individuals under 18 years is still provided; however, it is possible on the recommendation of doctors. -02D-
