Over 900 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku / 18.01.22 / Turan: Over the past day, 930 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Azerbaijan, 703 patients have recovered, 12 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on January 18.
In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 627,015 cases of COVID-19 infection have been detected in the country, including 609,480 citizens who have recovered, 8,541 have died, and the number of active patients is 8,994.
Over the past day, 8,566 tests have been carried out related to the detection of new cases of infection.
Also, over the past day, 29,596 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 3,044, with the second dose - 3,504, with the booster dose - 23,048 people.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 11,701,685, of which 5,203,374 received the first dose of the vaccine, 4,717,982 received two doses, and 1,780,329 received a booster dose.
