Parliament abolished the penalty for damage or loss of driver"s license

At today's session the MPs abolished the penalty for damage to or loss of the driving license.   According to the chairman of the Committee on Legal Policy and State Building, Ali Guseynli in an old version of Article 154.4.  of the Administrative Code of Azerbaijan, noted that "the damage,  bad condition or the loss of a driver's license, committed intentionally, shall be punishable by a fine of from 30 to 40 manat." This approach is unjustified because the loss or damage of driving licenses always occurs due to the fault of  its owner. -17С-
