Pfizer/BioNTech Vaccine Expiry Date Extended
Baku/22.11.21/Turan: The validity period of the batch of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, which is currently used in Azerbaijan, expires on December 31, 2021, reported the Ministry of Health of the country.
The department explained that the World Health Organization, taking into account the feedback from the European Medicines Agency and the US Food and Drug Administration, sent information to countries using Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines to extend its validity from 6 to 9 months.
In this regard, the shelf life of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, which is currently used in Azerbaijan, expires on December 31, 2021. — 06D-

On January 7, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree increasing the salaries of employees in several organizations funded by the state budget. According to the decree, the monthly salaries of managerial and other employees in around 20 institutions (including the Presidium, Apparatus, and Ganja Branch of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, and the Heydar Aliyev Center) will increase by an average of 15% starting January 1, 2025.
