Baku / 12.04.19 / Turan: A member of the Popular Front Party (PFPA) Tofig Mammadov was detained by police officers near the Inshaatchilar metro station on April 12.
According to eyewitnesses, physical pressure was exerted on Mammadov. The reasons for the detention are not known. Mammadov was selling lemons, and the police did not touch other small traders.
It was not possible to get comments from the press service of the Ministry of Interior.
In January of this year, Mammadov held a hunger strike in protest against the pressure on the blogger Mehman Huseynov.
