По делу о взрыве в ночном клубе Баку арестованы три человека
Baku/05.04.22/Turan: Three people were arrested in a criminal case over the explosion at the "Location" nightclub in central Baku. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office in the evening of April 4.
The investigation found that the cause of the explosion which caused the fire was the illegal use and improper operation of a gas cylinder in the kitchen of the mentioned object.
Owing to the fact the manager of "Merser food" Ltd (a firm - tenant of club premises), Rasul Rasulov, founder manager of the club Orhan Safarov and inspector of the 2nd territorial department of the State Fire Service Ruslan Mamedov were drawn to responsibility and detained.
Rasulov was charged under Article 225.2 (violation of fire safety rules, resulting in negligent death or serious injury to victims) of the Criminal Code.
Safarov and Mammadov are accused under Article 314.2 of the Criminal Code (negligence resulting in human death and serious injuries to the victims).
The latter was responsible for the observance of fire safety rules on the territory where the night bar was located.
The investigation is underway. A preventive measure in the form of arrest was selected in respect of all three persons by the decision of the Binagadi district court.
The explosion, which caused the fire in the nightclub, took place at about 03:00 on April 3. As a result of the accident, facility worker Maya Akhundova, born 1979, was killed. Another 37 people were injured.
