Police arrested a man videoing a protest in Guba
Late in the evening on January 15 the police took away from home Chingiz Alishanov, a resident of the village of Vladimirovka in the region of Guba. Relatives of Alishanov told "Meydan TV" that the arrest was because of the filming on his phone the protests in Guba yesterday. During the dispersal by police Alishanov’s phone dropped, and police picked it up. Finding a shooting, the police came and took him away from home, saying nothing. To date, it is not known where Alishanov is kept. Almost all the videos of protests in the country were taken by local people and posted in social networks, or sent to various sites. -02D-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
