Police raid "to the Ganun" publishing house
Baku / 14.08.20 / Turan: Police officers on August 14 came to the "Ganun" publishing house and started a shooting there, said the a director of the publishing house Shahbaz Khuduoglu.
According to him, two employees of the Interior Ministry's Rapid Response Regiment walked from room to room and behaved aggressively, intimidated employees, Khuduoglu added.
Police representatives explained their actions by “searching for workers without masks”.
“Interestingly, the police themselves were not wearing masks. After I left the publishing house, the local police inspector arrived there,” said Khuduoglu.
The head of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ehsan Zahidov, told Turan that police officers are monitoring compliance with a special quarantine regime.
“Police officers entered all closed premises, vehicles engaged in passenger transportation, monitor compliance with the quarantine regime. Therefore, Shahbaz Khuduoglu should not be offended,” Zakhidov said. -0-
