Police Seize 15 Kg of Opium from Resident of Salyan
Baku / 16.04.19 / Turan: 14 kg 865 grams of opium was seized from a resident of the Salyan district Niyameddin Sadigov. The operation was conducted by employees of the regional office of the Anti-Drug Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.
According to the detainee, he acquired the opium packaged in five packets from an Iranian citizen, whose identity is unknown, on the territory of the Bilasuvar region. Sadigov said he bought the drugs for sale.
A criminal case has been started and Sadigov has been arrested, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said. -03D06-
