Police to Arrange Foot Patrols - Ministry of Internal Affairs
Baku /02.07.20 / Turan: From July 2, police posts established on highways in Baku due to the strict quarantine regime will be eliminated, the Interior Ministry press service said.
This decision is motivated by "ensuring the intensity of traffic on intercity roads and attracting more employees to control the toughened special quarantine regime."
At the same time, control over the implementation by citizens of the requirements of the quarantine regime, in particular the use of medical masks in designated places and the observance of social distance, will be strengthened.
On the streets and avenues, as well as residential areas, the number of foot patrol units will be increased.
The availability of an appropriate permit for the movement of vehicles will be determined by means of video surveillance cameras. — 06D-
