
Political immigrants declare persecution of their relatives in Azerbaijan
Baku / 09.12.17 / Turan: Pressure is exerted on the relatives of political emigrants in Azerbaijan who are participating in Europe in protest actions against human rights violations in the country, reads the statement of an organizer of the action "Freedom of Political Prisoners" in front of the UN office in Bonn, the head of the association "Civil Initiatives for Democracy" Sevinj Iskenderova. She notes that the purpose of the action was to draw the attention of the UN to human rights violations in Azerbaijan. The action was held on August 29, despite the fact that a lot of time has passed, the pressure on the relatives of political emigrants does not stop.
