Population of Azerbaijan reaches 10,197,146 people
Since the beginning of 2024 the population of Azerbaijan has grown by 16,376 or 0.2% and reached 10,197,146 people as of June 1. This is stated in the report of the State Statistics Committee.
At that, 54.5% of the country's population lives in urban areas, 45.4% in rural areas. 49.8% of the population is male and 50.2 % is female.
