Baku/01.11.22/Turan: A member of the Party of People's Front of Azerbaijan, Emin Akhundov, was detained on October 31.
According to his father, at 19:30 two police officers from the Apsheron region came to his house and took Emin away.
“They said they were taking him away for a ‘minor matter’ and not to worry. However, there is still no information from Emin,” the man said on Tuesday morning.
In turn, the head of the press service of the Interior Ministry, Elshad Hajiyev, told Turan that Emin Akhundov was called to the police due to his publication on social networks.
“It turned out that what he wrote had no legal basis. An investigation is currently underway,” Hajiyev said, without specifying what exactly Akhundov wrote. -06B-
