Protest action against Azerbaijani authorities in Washington
Baku / 16.03.18 / Turan: On Wednesday, in Washington, in front of an embassy of the Azerbaijani Embassy in the US was held a protest against the appointment of early elections in the country on April 11. Its participants, representatives of Azerbaijani youth living in America, chanted: "Say no to Aliyev's regime!", "Save Azerbaijan!", "Freedom to the Azerbaijani people!", "Protect our rights", etc.
In order to avoid the persecution of relatives in Azerbaijan, the participants of the action donned masks "Vendetta".
Young people raised portraits of political prisoners and demanded the resignation of Ilham Aliyev.
The action lasted about two hours and ended with the execution of the anthem of Azerbaijan.
