Psychologists Not Allowed to Help Affected Residents of Frontline Areas
Baku / 03.11.20 / Turan: A group of psychologists of Azerbaijan, relying on international experience in providing primary psychological assistance in crisis situations, prepared a group of 34 psychiatrists and social workers to travel to the front-line areas. One of the participants in the initiative, Azad Isazadeh, told Turan about this.
In particular, it is planned to provide primary psychological assistance and subsequent rehabilitation to children and women who have suffered as a result of shelling. However, the group has not yet been able to obtain permission to travel to the front-line areas. The reason for this is not clear, because such work is a common practice in all crisis situations and is extremely necessary, first of all, for families who have lost their loved ones. –06B-
