Punishment for car hooliganism is mitigated
Baku/12.02.21/Turan: On Friday, the session of the Milli Mejlis discussed and adopted amendments to Article 511 of the country's Code of Administrative Offenses. These amendments mitigate the punishment for auto-hooliganism.
For car hooliganism, the driver is deprived of his driving license for a period of 1 year and a fine of 500 to 750 manats. The decision is made taking into account the identity of the offender. In extreme cases, administrative arrest for 15-30 days is applied.
At present, for car hooliganism, a driver can be deprived of the right to drive a car for 2 years, a fine from 750 to 1000 manats, or is subject to administrative arrest from one to two months. After discussions, the amendment was put to a vote and adopted on the second reading. -02D-
