Hand-over ceremony of the Project for Construction of Medical Point took place in Abdullabad village of Hajigabul Region implemented within the Framework of “Grassroots and Human Security Grant Assistance Program” provided by the Government of Japan.
In the village of Hajigabul district Abullabad February 1 medical station was opened with Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan Shushuke Watanabe.
7000 inhabitants of the three villages will enjoy the services of the health center, which was built as part of a project funded by the Japanese government and the value of which is $115,131.
On February 2 ceremony of the Grant Contract on the Project for “Renovation of Sheki Vocational Training School in Sheki City” to be implemented within the framework of “Grassroots and Human Security Grant Assistance Program” provided by the Government of Japan . Cost of the project, funded by the Japanese government, amounted to 122, 513 dollars. -04D-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
