Remains of an Azerbaijani soldier found
Baku/31.05.21/Turan: The body of the soldier Mammadag Imanov, who disappeared during the Second Karabakh War, was found. On June 1, his funeral is to take place in his native village of Dalga, Neftechala region, the country's Military Prosecutor's Office said.
The search was carried out by the Military Prosecutor's Office in conjunction with the National Security Service. After the discovery of the body, his identity was established, the Military Prosecutor's Office said in a statement.
Operational and investigative measures are continuing with the aim of locating other missing soldier.
It should be reminded that according to the results of the Second Karabakh war, 64 military men were considered missing. Since the end of the war, the bodies of approximately 40 people have been found. To date, about 20 servicemen remain unaccounted for. -03d-
