Residents of Sharur complain of police
In Sharur region of Nakhchivan the local police detains citizens and threat of the use of force, demand to return loans to the agricultural credit institution. People are summoned to police and are kept in the basement of the Sharur police for several days, Turan was told by a few locals on condition of anonymity.
At the same time, they demand from people money despite the term of payment loan has not come yet. Nevertheless, people are forced to sell their animals, depriving them of livelihood.
The citizens regard the police actions as illegal because disputes relating to the loans are considered by courts in the order of civil courts. However, it is impossible to appeal against the actions of the police in Nakhchivan. Turan failed to get comments in the Sharur police.-06D—
