Residents of Shirvanly village of Neftchala region suffer from cold
Baku/19.01.23/Turan: Residents of Shirvanli village of Neftchala region have written to Turan asking for help.
"Our village is located at a distance of 8 km from the village of Bankya in our region. The village is fully gasified. However, the laying of "Azeriqaz" gas lines towards the village of Shirvanli has not been continued. We have been living without natural gas for years," says the letter signed by nine citizens on behalf of all residents of the village.
The villagers have repeatedly appealed to various authorities, but the state-owned company does not carry out gasification work in the village of Shirvanly. People suffer from the cold, especially in the winter and autumn months. They are forced to purchase firewood, which harms the natural environment," Shirvan residents report.
They ask Turan to contact SOCAR and its "Azeriqaz" division, since they cannot reach these authorities themselves. Residents of the village of Shirvanly demand the earliest gasification of the settlement.
Attasched to the letter is a list of nine residents who signed the appeal with phone numbers.
Within two days, in violation of the legislation, "Azeriqaz" did not respond to Turan's request, which sent citizens' appeals to this agency.
The website of the executive power of the Neftchala region reports that there are several villages in the region to which natural gas is not supplied. The problem of these settlements will be solved within the framework of the state program for the development of regions for 2019-2023, the project work on gasification of these settlements has been completed, - reports the executive power of the region.
