Schools in Baku, Ganja, Sumgayit, Sheki and Absheron will switch to distance learning
Baku/01.04.21/Turan: On April 5 this year, secondary schools in Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Sheki and Absheron region will switch to distance learning, according to the message on the website of the Ministry of Education. This decision is justified by the deteriorating situation due to the increase in the number of infected with COVID-19.
In other cities and regions of the country, partly full-time education will continue, the report says.
Full-time education in the country's schools was suspended a year ago - on March 3, 2020. Classes were partially resumed online on September 15, 2020, but stopped again on September 28. On February 1, 2021, online education was partially resumed in the country's schools.
A sharp increase in the number of people infected with coronavirus has been observed in the country since the second half of February, despite the beginning of vaccination. -02D-

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has not been invited to observe the parliamentary elections scheduled in Azerbaijan for September 1.
