Search for Lost Oil Workers and Fire-fighting at Sea Continues
The search continues for the oilmen missing since the accident and fire at the field Guneshli on December 4, as well as measures to extinguish the fire.
The operation to extinguish the fire involves ships Whirl-5 and Whirl-8, said the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan.
At the same time, four helicopters and a plane B-200SS continue to search for the missing oilmen. In addition, the Water Rescue Service and the Special Risks Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency monitor along the entire coast.
On December 4 there was a fire on the Guneshli platform. Thirty-three people were rescued and the bodies of seven victims were found. Currently, 23 oilmen are considered missing. -16D-
