Seismic stations are being installed around mud volcanoes
Baku/21.02.22/Turan: A total of 12 seismic stations are expected to be installed in the area of mud volcanoes in Azerbaijan, the message of the Republican Center of Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
Five stations have already been installed around mud volcanoes on the Absheron Peninsula.
Three stations more were built in Tovuz, Dashkesan and Ismayilli.
Installation of four stations continues.
The stations are being built as part of an international grant project.
Seismic stations make it possible to study the activity of mud volcanoes. -05D06-.
