Shamakhi-Heybali Road Closed, Peasants Conduct Action
Baku / 13.06.18 / Turan: A group of residents of the village of Heybali in the Shamakhi district gathered today in front of the executive power building of the district. The cause of the protest was the road that fell into disrepair between the district center and the village.
A resident of the village, Niyamaddin Garayev, told Turan that for several weeks the communication between the village and the district center was interrupted.
"For several weeks there have been continuous rains. The roads already were in bad condition, and after the rains they are completely washed away. Representatives of the authorities come, look and do nothing. So we have to turn to the head of the executive branch. There is no necessary equipment to restore the roads," he said.
According to him, stuck cars are idle on the roads for days.
A resident of the village, Nazim Azadoglu, whose car was stuck on the road Shamakhi-Heybali, said that until now the executive branch and other bodies have done nothing to solve the problem.
"I also called the Emergency Ministry, but they refuse to help. We also applied to the executive branch, and they promised to deliver heavy equipment within three days, but this has not been done," said Azadoglu.
The residents were listened to by representatives of the executive power, who promised to solve the problem.
We did not manage to get a comment in the executive power of Shamakhi on this issue. -0-
