Head of Caucasian Muslims Alashukur Pashazade received on June 3 the Baku representative of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Sadaddin Topukchu.
Pashazade said that "the Northern Cyprus is part of the Turkic world and the Cypriots themselves are the brotherly people."
Pashazade called important the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Northern Cyprus, and shared memories of a meeting with the late leader Rauf Denktash.
Sadaddin Topukchu, in turn, informed about the ongoing processes in Northern Cyprus, stressing the desire to further develop relations with Azerbaijan. -05D04-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
