Sheki Court Supports Company that Banished Gakh Farmers from Their Land
Baku / 15.04.19 / Turan: On April 11, the Sheki Administrative and Economic Court ruled in favor of the Executive Power of the Gakh region and Agroinkishaf-2017 LLC, which the plaintiff, a member of the Western Branch of the Helsinki Civil Assembly Aslan Veliyev, blames for violating the law and seizing land leased by farmers and destruction of the fertile soil layer.
The first meeting in the Sheki Regional Economic Court took place on January 30, 2019. On March 31, the trial continued there. On April 11, the judge announced the decision in favor of the Executive Power of the Gakh district and the agricultural company.
