Skirmish on Armenian-Azerbaijani Border, Three Wounded on Armenian Side
Baku / 31.03.20 / Turan: On March 30, the Armenian side issued a statement on curbing the sabotage of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on the western border. As a result, two servicemen and a 14-year-old teenager were injured in the border village of Voskevan. According to the Armenian version, fire was opened from the side of the Gazakh region at three Armenian villages and combat positions.
Following this, statements were made by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, accusing Azerbaijan of deliberately disrupting the ceasefire and threatening with retaliatory measures.
In turn, the Border Service of Azerbaijan denied allegations of an attempt to sabotage and shelling settlements. Fire is opened only on the fighting positions of the Armenian side, from where the Azerbaijani positions are fired, the report said. -02D-
