Special Services of Azerbaijan Reveal International Criminal Cyber Group
Baku / 25.07.17 / Turan: The State Security Service (SSS) of Azerbaijan disclosed an international criminal cyber group that stole 3.7 million manat from the banking network.
As SSS notes, the group operated outside the country and carried out cyber operations not only in Azerbaijan, but also in other countries.
SSS opened a criminal case on the fact under articles 177.3.2 (theft with causing major damage) and 273.4 (illegal interference in the computer system or computer information) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
One of the alleged members of the criminal group, a foreign citizen, Danila Konstantinovich Dorin, was detained in Barcelona and was extradited to Azerbaijan on the basis of international trials on July 23. -0-
