Statistics of natural and man-caused accidents
Baku/27.07.21/Turan: In the first half of 2021, 6,600 accidents of natural and man-caused origin occurred in Azerbaijan, according to a report of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan dated July 27.
As a result of these incidents, 31 people died and 129 injured. Note that responding agency officers rescued 31 and evacuated another 296 persons.
In the reviewed period, the number of recorded fires was 1,180. As a result, 23 people died and 81 injured.
In the first half of the year, 43 explosions occurred which is up 1 from of 2020.
Also, 4 persons were killed in the explosions, 43 injured.—06D-
