Baku/30.10.23/Turan: A person suspected of killing two people and injuring four others in an armed attack on a private house in Sumgayit's Jorat esidential area in the morning of 28 October has been detained.
He turned out to be Mushvig Mammadov, who lived in the neighbourhood with the killed and wounded. The information was confirmed by the Press Service of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry.
According to law enforcement sources, the detainee confessed, saying that he committed a hate crime.
Mammadov has been charged under relevant articles of the Criminal Code. -21В06-

The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
