The act of amnesty was executed against 1,300 people
Baku/22.11.21/Turan: The act of amnesty, announced on the occasion of Victory Day - November 8, has already been applied to 1,300 prisoners, said the head of the department for human rights and public relations of the Ministry of Justice, Ainur Sabitova. The amnesty act was adopted by the parliament on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev on November 5.
It was announced that the amnesty will affect 16-17 thousand convicts, including 3 thousand persons serving a prison sentence.
The execution of the Amnesty Act is envisaged within 4 months. — 06D-
