Baku/24.12.20/Turan: 1850 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Azerbaijan, 4226 patients recovered, 40 died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on Thursday.
The total number of infected reached 210,061, of which 155,886 recovered, 2,380 died, 51,795 active patients continue treatment.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,115,991 coronavirus tests have been carried out in Azerbaijan, including 13034 in the last 24 hours. —06В-

During search and operational activities, on January 30 at 11:20, 16.4 kg of drugs were discovered and seized in the area of the "Geytapa" border post, located on the Iran-Azerbaijan border. According to the Azerbaijan Border Service, this prevented an attempt to smuggle into Azerbaijan 11.3 kg of marijuana, 5.1 kg of opium, and 1,990 methadone M-40 pills from Iran.
