Baku/29.11.23/Turan: The family of Aziz Orujev, the arrested head of “Channel 13” Internet television, appealed to the members of the Monitoring Group of Human Rights Organizations of Azerbaijan (MGHROA) in connection with his arrest.
Members of the MGHROA Novella Jafaroglu, Saadat Bananyarli, Saida Gojamanli and Chingiz Ganizade listened to the complaints of Orujev's mother and wife – Almaz Hasanova and Lamia Orujeva.
The MGHROA has taken control of Orujev's case and intends to appeal to law enforcement agencies in his case, the human rights group reported. Orujev was detained on the evening of January 27. He is accused of unauthorized construction of a house without the right to own and use the land. On November 28, the court arrested him for 2 months.—06B-
