The forest fire in the Gabala mountains continues
Baku/12.08.21/Turan: A forest fire that broke out yesterday in the Gabala region, in a mountainous area with rugged relief, is currently ongoing in three directions – the villages of Abrykh, Solguchar and Damnyh. This was reported today by the local representative of the Ministry of Ecology, Akif Mammadov.
Firefighters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, employees of the regional department of the Ministry of Ecology, the region administration and local residents were involved in fighting the fire.
A helicopter of the air squadron of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is also involved in extinguishing the fire.
It has to be kept in mind that the fire fighting is aggravated by the fact that no fire trucks can climb up the high-altitude zone— - 016D-
