
The head of the Sheki organization of PFPA is arrested for 15 days
Baku /23.08.19 / Turan: Mubariz Abdulkerimov, chairman of the Sheki district organization of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) detained the night before, was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest today.
The court found him guilty under the Article 510 (petty hooliganism) of the Code of Administrative Offenses. This was reported by Turan in PFPA.
Abdulkerimov became the 4th PFPA activist arrested administratively this week. Another party member was fined.
The leadership of the party regards what is happening as a new wave of repression against this leading opposition force in the country. - 06B--
