Consequences of the rocket attack on Ganja
The National Independence Party of Azerbaijan (NIPA) condemns Armenian terrorist attacks against civilian population
Baku / 11.10.20 / Turan: The National Independence Party condemned the attacks by Armenia against the civilian population of Azerbaijan.
The NIPA's statement says: Artillery shelling of the Aghdam and Terter regions of Azerbaijan by the armed forces of Armenia, attempts to shell the front in the direction of Hadrut and Jabrail, shelling of an ambulance with a white flag taking the bodies of Armenian soldiers from Sugovushan, rocket shelling of the second largest city of Azerbaijan, located far beyond the front line of the city of Ganja at night, regarded as a terrorist attack on the civilian population, including women and children, immediately after the establishment of the ceasefire, demonstrated once again that Armenia is, in fact, a terrorist state and will not abide by any agreements…
The National Independence Party of Azerbaijan declares that the aggressor country Armenia and its direct patron states, as well as the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs who have taken on the mission to solve the problem for many years and are interested in maintaining the status quo, bear responsibility for everything that happened. We believe that against the background of the steps taken by the Armenian side, the Moscow Agreement, which was its last chance, should be considered invalid.
Our position on this issue remains unchanged, and we once again declare that the liberation of our lands is possible only by military-political ways; in particular, we should answer the enemy in a language he understands, avenge attacks on our civilians and ensure the complete destruction of enemy positions. 0—

November 8 is celebrated as Victory Day in Azerbaijan. In 2020, Azerbaijan restored its territorial integrity through a 44-day war and a one-day military operation in 2023. Although a ceasefire declaration was signed between the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia, a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan has yet to be signed, even four years later.
