The new court trial against Ali Insanov will begin on April 7
The court trial in the case of ex-health minister Ali Insanov was appointed on April 7 in the Garadagh District Court of Baku, Turan was told by his lawyer Togrul Babayev. It should be reminded that Insanov was detained since October 2005. Initially, he was accused of attempting a coup d'état, but then was sentenced to 11 years in economic terms. Despite the fact that the Strasbourg court found violation of Insanov's rights, the verdict against him was upheld. In October 2016, nine days before the end of Insanov's sentence, charges were brought against him in the illegal storage of drugs, resistance to supervisors, storage of a prohibited item. On this basis, he was again arrested. Insanov complained to the ECHR for a new arrest, considering the charges fabricated. At the same time, at the request of the prosecutor's office, the arrest of Insanov was prolonged until March 31. -16D-

In 2017, the Sumgayit City Court ruled to evict the Aliyev family—refugees from Gubadli (Akper, Sarvinaz, Ramil, and two other family members)—from an illegally occupied apartment in the 12th microdistrict, Building 7A, Apartment 35.
