The Prison Service toughens access to prisoners?
The lawyers of former Health Minister Ali Insanov - Togrul Babayev and Shahverdi Agaveis were unable today to visit his client in jail N13. "Employees of the Penitentiary Service told us that they received an order that lawyers should receive monthly permission to meet with prisoners," Babayev told Turan. Lawyers intend to take legal action against the Prison Service.
Previously on the same reasons the lawyer Nemat Karimli was not allowed to the came jail to the deputy chairman of "Musavat" Tofig Yagublu, sentenced to five years imprisonment. Insanov was sentenced to 11 years in prison. At the request of the Prison Service on the presence of such an order, Turan news agency was told that the answer will be given tomorrow. -03B06-
