The Prosecutor General's Office warned another activist
Baku/04.08.22/Turan: On August4, pPublic activist Rustam Ismailbayli was summoned to the Prosecutor General's Office, where he was issued a warning.
“I was asked about one expression of Atatürk, which I quoted. I used it in my post and it sounds like this: "As long as the freedom of the people is not threatened, it is a crime to start a war." The prosecutor's office regarded this quote as a threat to national security,” Ismailbayli said.
He considers the warning unfounded. On the other hand, he does not consider Azerbaijan to be the party that started the war.
"In the publication, I did not indicate which side started the war," Ismailbayli told Turan. According to the activist, he was given a warning in accordance with Article 22 of the Law on the Prosecutor's Office.
The attempts to get comments from the Prosecutor General's Office were futile. --21B--
