The work of the Pardon Commission is over
Baku/17.03.21/Turan: "The work of the Pardon Commission has ended and we have presented our list in the Commission," Sayida Gojamanli, a member of the Monitoring Group of human rights defenders, told Turan.
According to her, there are a lot of names on the list of those proposed for pardon. The list will be presented to the head of state, who will make the final decision. “The list includes convicted journalists, bloggers, members of political parties, believers, life-sentenced prisoners,” she said.
A pardon act is expected in the near future, which will be timed to coincide with Novruz. -05B-

The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has approved amendments to the regulation on the allocation of funds collected from traffic fines, initially established in 1999.
