There can be harmful to health substances in the Turkish products
Baku/02.04.18/Turan: The Food Safety Agency (FSA) warned the public about the content of harmful substances in a number of food products imported from Turkey. According to the FSA, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock of Turkey conducted an investigation in connection with the food products produced on the territory of this country. It was found that in the composition of products of 282 items from 173 manufacturers, food additives not indicated on the label, harmful to human health, were found.
The FSA compiled a list of alleged goods imported to Azerbaijan from Turkey. Of the food products listed, 17 refer to meat and meat products, 40 to milk and dairy products, 15 to honey, 40 to vegetable oils, one to tea, spices and energy drinks, four to chocolate, nonalcoholic beverages, 13 - food additives.
The agency urges citizens not to purchase the listed goods. At the same time, the FSA does not specify what kind of goods and what brands they are talking about. -06D-
