Three people blown up by mine in Fuzuli region
Baku/02.08.22/Turan: Three people were blown up on the morning of August 2 by a mine in the Fuzuli region receiving injuries of varying degrees.
The incident occurred at about 10 a.m. during the demining of the village of Garakhanbeyli. As a result of the explosion of an anti-personnel mine, sappers were injured: Yadigyar Shukyurov born in 1990, Rovshan Alizade born in 1991 and Gilman Huseynov born in 1976.
Shukyurov and Alizade received injuries of varying degrees, and Huseynov had his leg amputated. The Fuzuli region prosecutor's office is investigating the fact.
It should be noted that on July 25, in a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, President Ilham Aliyev said that after the 2020 war, 240 Azerbaijani citizens were killed or injured as a result of a mine explosion. -16B06-
