Baku/05.09.22/Turan: Three people were detained in connection with the dissemination of video footage of abuse and physical abuse of children with disabilities in the psychopaedic center "Mehnur". These are head of the center Nurana Hajizade, her assistant Sabina Aliyarbeyli and psychologist Aytaj Kazimli.
According to the Interior Ministry, a criminal case under Article 133 of the Criminal Code (torture) has been initiated against them in Nizami district police department.
Representatives and lawyers of the detainees were unavailable for comment. -03B06-
