Tofig Yagublu is on hunger strike for 15 days
Baku/19.01.13/Turan: Opposition politician Tofig Yagublu, who is serving an administrative arrest, continues his hunger strike for the 15th day. Today, in hospital No. 6, his daughter Nigar Hazi and Dr. Adyl Geybulla visited him.
Yagublu received an infusion to replenish the water balance. Yagublu continues to lose weight, he is lethargic, it is difficult for him to move around. However, hemodynamic parameters are stable, there is no threat to life today, Geybulla said.
His wife Maya Yagublu is on a hunger strike for 13th day in solidarity with T. Yagublu.
On January 19, 7 people participated in the hunger strike of solidarity with Yagublu. They are holding a rally in the office of the Musavat party. The action in the Agdash region was stopped because of the worsening the health of the hunger strikers. All hunger strikers demand the release of Yagublu, activist Bakhtiyar Hajiyev, and other political prisoners. ---B06---
