Baku/27.07.22/Turan: The day before the Azerbaijani border guards detained two persons who tried to violate the border in the direction of Georgia near the village of the Second Shikhly of the Gazakh region.
This is stated in a joint statement by the press service of the State Border Service and the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan.
The border violators were residents of Shchekinsky region Kamal Nasibov and Elnur Aliyev.
It was established that they arrived at the border in a "Priora" car with state license plates 99 KG 752.
During the inspection, 7 grams of a substance similar to the narcotic drug marijuana, 2 pistols, 1 hunting rifle of 16 mm caliber, 5 cartridges, 1 pocket knife, 1 dagger, 3,300 Azerbaijani manats and 200 US dollars were found and seized in the car.
